A keystone is the central, most crucial stone that holds an arch together, ensuring its strength and longevity. This principal guide everything we do: we strive to be that foundational element, the keystone of success, for your family, no matter what services you need from us.
Our name, Keystone, isn't just a label; it represents our commitment to being an essential support system for every family we have the privilege to serve.
For my husband and I, Pennsylvania is home. We grew up right here in Northumberland County, and it's where we've raised our six children.
Ribbons have a rich history as powerful symbols of awareness and solidarity. People wear and display ribbons to visibly demonstrate their support for a cause, to foster unity, and to spark important conversations. For us at Keystone Care ABA, our vibrant ribbon symbolizes the beautiful spectrum of all neurodiverse conditions and disabilities. It also lovingly embraces every parent, guardian, and family member who pours their heart into caring for a loved one with a disability. We truly understand the daily challenges and the often-unseen joys that families navigate. We recognize the profound strength it takes to overcome hurdles, celebrate small victories, and tirelessly advocate for your loved one. Our ribbon signifies that you are not alone; we stand with you, championing understanding, acceptance, and a brighter future for all who enter our services.
For over a decade I have and continue to serve as dedicated Direct Support Professional. Along with my experience, our youngest son, Israel, is a constant inspiration on this journey. His autism taught us invaluable lessons as we navigated what his unique path would look like and how our family could best support him. This personal experience deeply informs our understanding and dedication to the families who come to KeystoneCare ABA. We personally experienced the critical gap in continuous services for families supporting children with disabilities. This first-hand understanding fueled the vision: to establish a place where families could access a seamless continuum of care, from early intervention through adult services.
Our years of experience, knowledge, and education really pushed us to dream big for our community. We are setting out to build a company that families could truly grow with, not grow out of. We plan to offer IBHS services (currently in licensing) for Northumberland, Snyder, Union, and Montour Counties, adult autism waiver services (starting the licensing process), and I/DD services in the future.
Our primary focus is on teaching functional living skills right where it matters most: at home, in school, and out in the community. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) provides the framework for this work, offering a data-driven, individualized, and evidence-based approaches to help individuals learn new skills and reduce challenging behaviors all while increasing the quality of life for them and their families!
